Booking Terms
1a. By booking a treatment at Little Starr Therapies the client is agreeing that, to their knowledge, there is no reason why they are not medically or otherwise suitable to receive their chosen treatment. It is the sole responsibility of the client to research whether their chosen treatment is suitable for them.
1b. The client is not looking for sensual, nude or other illegal and/or sexual services. By asking for any such service, the therapist has the right to refuse or cancel the booking without a refund or explanation, and the client will be barred from the business for life. The therapist may also notify the appropriate authorities of the attempt to solicit illegal and/or sexual services in order to seek compensation for any mental damage caused. Any attempt to refuse to pay money owed, slander or defame the business will result in legal action being taken against the client.
1c. The client is agreeing that, when booking, they will give up to date contact details, read the confirmation email in its entirety (checking any spam folders or updating any incorrect contact information if unable to find the email) and will fill out the provided
consultation form in its entirety with correct and up-to-date information.
1d. The client agrees to pay the required deposit in order to secure their booking and understands their booking will not be secured by the therapist until this deposit has been received. The client understands that this deposit is fully refundable as long as 24 hours notice or more is given of any changes, cancellations or rearrangements by them to the therapist. Less than 24 hours notice will result in the loss of the deposit, and the client will be bound by the cancellation terms.
1e. It is the right of the therapist to refuse or cancel service to the client at any time without warning.
1f. Where the client books an appointment through the therapist by any other means than through the business website, it is the sole responsibility of the client to find and read the business terms and conditions in order to make sure they agree to and understand the terms under which they are making an appointment.
1g. The client understands and agrees that any relevant booking information such as names and personal contact information will be kept on record by the therapist for contact and booking purposes, and is protected via standard GDPR legislation.
Treatment Terms
2a. The client understands that their chosen treatment is not a replacement for medical or professional help and if they have serious medical concerns they should seek treatment with a qualified medical professional.
2b. Under no circumstances will nude, sexual or sensual services be provided. Requesting such services will result in the immediate termination of the treatment without refund and the client will be barred from the business for life.
2c. Treatment may be terminated, rescheduled or cancelled at the discretion of the therapist, no minimum notice being necessary. In the event that treatment cannot go ahead as planned due to the fault of the therapist, acts of God, or other events deemed inclusive by the therapist, suitable reimbursement and/or rescheduling options may be provided to the client.
2d. Before treatment can begin, the client will fill out the consultation form with honest, correct and up-to-date information at least an hour before the treatment is due to start. Failure to fill this out before treatment will result in treatment time being used to allow the client to fill out the form. Refusal to fill out and sign the consultation form will result in the refusal of service and no refund will be given to the client. All due payments will be expected and failure on the client's part to provide the payment within 30 days will result in legal action being taken by the therapist. If the client is found to have knowingly provided incorrect information, they may be barred from the business for life.
2e. The client takes full responsibility for their own health, freeing the business and therapist from liability. Any complications arising due to medical issues or allergies that the therapist was not made aware of are the sole responsibility of the client. The client agrees that should such complications arise, they will take full responsibility and will not subject the business or therapist to claims for compensation, legal action or slander.
2f. The client will not arrive at the business with infectious illnesses, medical issues that will affect treatment, or under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Turning up for treatment with any of these conditions will result in the refusal of service. Where the client has paid in advance, no refunds will be given. Where the client has not paid in advance, they will pay the full price of the treatment. Failure to pay within 30 days will result in late payment interest being added to the charge at a rate of 50p per day, at a maximum fee of £50. Further failure to pay will result in legal action being taken against the client.
2g. Where the client has medical issues that are not deemed significant enough by the therapist to decline treatment but are still present, any risks, responsibilities and consequences fall with the client. The therapist and business are free from all liability.
Cancellations & Rearrangements
3a. In the event that the client needs to cancel or rearrange their treatment, 24 hours notice minimum must be given to the therapist via text, call or email. The therapist will confirm the cancellation with the client. In the event the client does not get a response from the therapist, it is to be assumed that their notice of cancellation was not received and it is the responsibility of the client to contact the therapist by other means to ensure contact has been made before the 24 hour notice period is reached.
3b. If 24 hours notice or more is given to the therapist by the client of cancellations or need to reschedule, where payment has been given to the therapist in advance, the client will be entitled to a full refund and no cancellation charges will apply.
3c. If less than 24 hours notice is given to the therapist of cancellations or rescheduling, the client will pay a late notice fee equal to 90% of the treatment total, including any deposit. Under no circumstances will this cancellation fee be waived. Failure to pay the sum owed within 30 days will result in the late notice charge increasing to 100% of the treatment total and a final notice of late payment being served to the client. Failure to pay within 7 days will result in late payment interest being added to the charge at a rate of 50p per day, at a maximum fee of £50. If payment is not received within 28 days from the date on the final notice of late payment, legal action will be taken against the client to claim any money owed, including interest and the addition of any legal fees.
3d. Should the therapist need to cancel or reschedule a treatment for any reason, they are entitled to do so at any time. Where they are able, they will try to give the client a minimum of 3-24 hours notice of this change. Refunds or rescheduling options will be provided to the client by the business.
Failure to Show
4a. If the client fails to turn up for their scheduled treatment without giving notice to the therapist, they will be expected to pay 100% of the treatment cost. Failure to pay the sum owed within 30 days will result in a final notice of late payment being served to the client.
Arriving Late
5a. The client agrees that they will aim to arrive at the business 5 minutes early, taking traffic, weather and any other conditions which may affect their travel to the business into consideration. Failure to turn up within this time frame may result in the client losing out on treatment time. The therapist is under no obligation to extend treatment time due to the fault of the client or acts of God.
5b. The therapist takes no responsibility for the client being late and will offer no compensation to the client under any circumstances.
5c. If the therapist feels that the client has arrived too late to realistically receive the scheduled treatment, the therapist has the right to refuse treatment entirely. Where possible, the therapist may offer a shorter treatment, however, full payment for the scheduled treatment will still be expected. Refusal to pay the full amount within 30 days will result in legal action being taken against the client, and the client may be barred from the business for life. In this instance, the client will take full responsibility for being late and will not slander the business or seek compensation.

Offers
7a. Offers may not be used in conjunction with any other offers. One offer per visit per client may be applied.
7b. The 20% referral discount only applies if the person the client has referred has booked in and received their treatment. Once the person has booked and received their treatment, and mentioned the client's name who referred them, the client may then redeem their 20% off.
7c. Please find loyalty card terms and conditions here.
7d. When buying a course, the client agrees to pay the entire sum upfront, or pay 50% on the first treatment and 50% on the third. Failure to pay will result in the business refusing the client the remaining treatments until the sum has been paid. Courses expire after 6 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated on the course card. If the client breaches any of the terms and conditions, or the therapist otherwise feels it necessary to terminate the client's access to the business, any remaining sessions booked and/or paid for in advance will be forfeit and the business reserves the right to retain any money paid. However, if the client is unable to continue with the course for a reason that the therapist believes is valid, such as unexpected pregnancy or illness, the business may refund the client or extend the validity of the course at their discretion.
7e. The £15 off for new clients offer can only be redeemed once the client has booked, received and paid for a fully-priced treatment. Discounted treatments, treatments bought on the client's behalf, or treatments paid for via gift certificate do not qualify. The £15 off voucher is valid for 4 weeks from the date of their first treatment. The therapist may give the client a physical voucher, or make the client aware of the offer verbally. It is the client's responsibility to remember, retain and redeem the offer within the 4-week period of validity. It is not the responsibility of the therapist to remind or make the client aware of these terms or the offer as the client is required and expected to read these terms in full upon booking their treatment.
7f. The business and therapist reserve the right to refuse treatment or the application of an offer/discount at their will. No reason must be given to the client.
